Robert Adams to Head NKMS Governmental Investigation & Compliance Practice(Boston, MA | Manchester, NH) – Nelson, Kinder, Mosseau, & Saturley, P.C. (NKMS) is pleased to announce that Robert F. Adams has been named to head the firm’s Governmental Investigation and Compliance Practice Group. Mr. Adams was formerly with the Fraud Section of the Criminal Division of the U.S Department of Justice, and was also an enforcement attorney with both the Office of Thrift Supervision and the Securities and Exchange Commission. His experience both with the government and in private practice includes regulatory compliance in the banking, healthcare, securities, and accounting fields. The NKMS Government Compliance Practice Group focuses on representation of clients in the construction, healthcare, financial services, and environmental sectors, with special emphasis on defending attorneys, accountants, engineers, and other professionals, as well as officers and directors in connection with government regulation and investigation. The practice group includes some of the firm’s most seasoned attorneys, whose experience as former government attorneys make them uniquely qualified to assist business clients who find themselves ensnared in a labyrinth of conflicting government regulation and enforcement proceedings.
