Today's world is one of fluid, social networks. Our attorneys, our paralegals, our staff members all maintain a web of contacts, connections, friends, and family with whom information is readily and quickly shared. Sometimes our friends and colleagues move on. The reasons are numerous: new challenges, new geography, change in desired career path, retirement.

Those connections retain flavor and value and importance, however, even if the immediate connection of employment with the firm is broken.
